Covid-19 – statement – 31 March 2020
As a result of Government restrictions across the UK and globally, I would like to reassure our clients that we are fully operational and open for business albeit with some inevitable restrictions in terms of certain service delivery specific to our industry (please see listed below).
On Wednesday 18th March, Beswick Relocation Services successfully implemented our ‘Business Continuity’ plans from when all our team have been working from home. As a result, our service, support and accounts teams are fully operational as are our systems.
Our priority of course remains to protect our teams, clients, your employees/families and our suppliers health and well being. We of course will continue to review our responses and actions in line with any government guidelines and feedback from all involved.
Telephones: all our telephone lines are operating normally, using VoIP they are diverted to our team on via a ‘call group’. In addition all relocatees have been provided with their consultants mobile phones to ensure any reasonable out of office enquiries are managed swiftly.
Portal – our main BRS portal can be securely accessed anywhere, any time, so ideally suits homeworking. Access to our client and employee portals and apps remain fully operational, in fact we are excited to be launching a new version of our employee portal ‘Your Relocation’ in the next 5 days.
Conferencing & Video – now more than ever is the time to embrace conference and video calls to ensure we remain in touch with our colleagues, client, relocatees and suppliers. We would encourage we ‘meet’ as often as possible and, in addition to dial in conferencing can include options such as skype, facetime, WhatsApp, etc.
Given current restrictions we want to make you aware of a few situations that will affect our ability to deliver certain services
1. Removal & delivery of possessions –our suppliers are not able to commence any moves. Where possible moves currently in transit will be delivered although this is still dependent upon other factors such as ports & customs being operational and safe access.
2. Accompanied Services –all accompanied services are suspended. We will still provide comprehensive remote support wherever possible.
3. Moving – property searches, move in & move out services are severely impacted & difficult to predict at present and are dependent upon third party co-operation No active property searches can be undertaken, although we are of course able to research and prepare in readiness.
Other than that it’s business as usual and welcome any opportunities we can assist you with.
